Wexford Detail: Terms of Service for Professional Detailing
Last updated: July 30, 2026
These terms apply when you use this website and when you book, request, or receive services from Wexford Detail LP, doing business as Wexford Detail ("we," "us"). By using the site, booking an appointment, or leaving a vehicle with us, you agree to these terms. Questions: info@wexforddetail.com or (412) 754-5772.
Bookings and appointments
- Online bookings are requests. Your appointment is not final until we confirm it. If a requested time does not work, we will contact you to find one that does.
- Appointment length estimates are estimates; actual time depends on the vehicle and its condition.
- We may reassign the technician performing your service without notice.
- We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at our discretion, including for unsafe conditions, biohazards, or abusive behavior.
Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows
- Plans change; contact us as early as you can at (412) 754-5772 and we will work with you to reschedule.
- Late cancellations, no-shows, or a vehicle that is not available at the scheduled time may result in a cancellation fee or loss of any deposit, where one applies. We will always tell you about any such fee before it is charged.
Pricing and quotes
- Published prices are starting points based on vehicle size and typical condition. Every job is confirmed with an exact quote before work begins.
- Some services (for example paint protection film, dent repair, hydrographics, fleet, and RV/boat/marine work) are quoted individually after we see the vehicle or discuss the scope.
- Vehicles requiring extra work, including heavy soiling, excessive pet hair, mold, bodily fluids, or other special conditions, may require additional time and cost. We will tell you and get your approval before proceeding.
Payment
- Payment is due when the work is completed unless we agree otherwise in advance.
- If we offer online payment or deposits, card details are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store your card information.
- Unpaid balances may be subject to reasonable late fees and collection costs where permitted by law.
Preparing your vehicle
- Please remove valuables, firearms, and personal items before your appointment. We are not responsible for personal property left in the vehicle.
- Child safety seats: if a child seat must be removed for interior work, we do not reinstall child seats. Reinstallation is the owner's responsibility, per child seat safety guidance.
- You confirm that you own the vehicle or are authorized by the owner to have it serviced.
Vehicle condition, inherent risks, and pre-existing damage
- We may photograph and document your vehicle's condition before and during work, for both of our protection.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, including scratches, swirls, dents, chips, worn or faded trim, prior bodywork, or aftermarket parts and accessories, whether noted at drop-off or discovered during cleaning.
- Professional detailing involves water, steam, heat, agitation, and professional-grade products. On aged, brittle, or previously damaged surfaces (for example loose trim, aged window tint, worn coatings, brittle plastics, sun-damaged paint), cleaning can reveal or worsen existing weakness. We take reasonable care and are not responsible for failures of aged or previously compromised parts and surfaces.
- Engine bay cleaning is performed with care at the owner's request; we are not responsible for electrical or mechanical issues arising in aged or previously compromised engine components after cleaning.
- Opening doors, running accessories, and interior work during service can drain a weak battery; we are not responsible for battery failure on vehicles with aged or weak batteries.
- You authorize us to operate the vehicle as needed to perform the service, for example moving it within or around the shop or service location.
- If a condition changes the scope of work, we will contact you before proceeding.
Inspecting the work and damage claims
- Please inspect your vehicle when you collect it. If you believe something was missed, tell us within 48 hours and we will review it and address reasonable concerns.
- Any claim of damage caused by our work must be reported within 48 hours of completion, with the vehicle made available for inspection. Claims are reviewed case by case using our before and during photos and documentation.
- Completed work is not refundable, but we will always work with you in good faith to make reasonable concerns right.
Photos and marketing
We may photograph your vehicle before, during, and after service for documentation, and we may use photos of the work in our portfolio and marketing. We do not include your name, face, or license plate without permission. If you prefer your vehicle not be shown at all, tell us and we will honor it.
Text messages
If you opt in to text messages, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

We may invite you to share feedback or a review after service. Reviews are voluntary, and we appreciate honest ones.
